Currently, the Branch has attracted more than 17,000 customers to open payment accounts on the Agribank E-Mobile Banking application. In particular, the Branch's Agribank E-Mobile Banking application has become the "key" to help people access the door of "digital banking", bringing modern financial and banking services quickly and conveniently to people, promoting non-cash payments (TTKDTM) in the area. In addition to the main information about accounts, internal and interbank transfers, card services (card information query, transfer via card number, non-physical card issuance, card locking), Agribank E-Mobile Banking service also fully integrates all essential utilities of life, meeting the maximum needs of customers such as: phone top-up, bill payment, online shopping, QR Code payment, booking airline tickets, booking train and bus tickets, booking movie tickets, booking hotel rooms, paying electricity, water, insurance fees, tuition, hospital fees, paying taxes, telecommunications fees, etc. In addition, Agribank E-Mobile Banking has an additional online deposit feature, helping customers save money without having to go to the bank.
In the past time, implementing the Government's Project 06 on pension and social insurance benefits payment in the district, Agribank My Loc District Branch has synchronously deployed solutions to "cover" social protection beneficiaries receiving pensions and benefits via bank accounts. Currently, the branch is supporting pension and social insurance beneficiaries to switch to receiving TTKDTM payments in many diverse and convenient forms. For beneficiaries who already have an account but have not registered to receive via account, the Branch promotes and propagates the opening of accounts and receiving benefits via account. For beneficiaries to receive salaries via TTKDTM method, the Branch coordinates with the Police and Social Insurance to verify and "clean" beneficiary data, reconfirm registration to receive money via account, authenticate beneficiaries and beneficiary status. In addition, Agribank My Loc district also creates the most optimal conditions for beneficiaries to open ATM accounts with incentives such as free ATM card issuance, free monthly account management; providing ATM account numbers as quickly as possible to meet the registration declaration to switch to receiving via ATM accounts at payment points in a timely manner; arranging staff on duty at the "one-stop" department of communes and towns periodically 1 day a week to discuss and guide account openers on how to use and access utilities when using Agribank E-Mobile Banking accounts. Agribank My Loc together with the district Police and Social Insurance implement synchronously, pay attention, and take responsibility to strive to complete the goal under the direction of the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province: to be one of the 5 provinces to complete the e-commerce payment and pay salaries in May and June the earliest. Regularly coordinate with communes and towns to propagate and popularize e-commerce payment utilities on the radio and television systems of villages and hamlets; Send staff to participate in meetings of loan and savings groups, villages and hamlets to introduce and encourage people to participate in paying and receiving pensions and social insurance benefits through their accounts. Up to now, Agribank My Loc has made monthly social security payments to more than 3,500 subjects through e-commerce with an amount of over 4 billion VND/month.
Payment of pensions and social insurance benefits via Agribank ATM card accounts is considered convenient and convenient by customers. Mr. Chu Van Diep, 71 years old, a retired official of My Tan commune (My Loc) said: “I find receiving pensions via Agribank ATM accounts very convenient, no longer having to queue up to receive cash on fixed days. Since switching to receiving salary via ATM card account at Agribank My Loc District Branch, I do not have to arrange personal matters to receive my salary; when I need to spend cash, I can withdraw money at ATMs at any time or at any Agribank transaction office. When my pension is periodically transferred to my account, I authorize the bank to collect my electricity and water bills without any fees. In addition, I also enjoy non-term interest on the balance in my account.”
To encourage people to participate in non-cash payments for pensioners and social insurance beneficiaries, reaching 100%, at the time of pension and social insurance benefit payments in June 2024, Agribank My Loc district branch launched a campaign to promote the convenience of receiving money through bank accounts at payment points in 11 communes and towns in the district. At the same time; guide and mobilize people who are receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits in cash to switch to receiving money through bank accounts. Within 3 days of implementation, nearly 1,000 pension and social insurance benefit recipients agreed to switch from receiving cash to receiving through personal accounts, accessing modern and convenient payment methods to save time, reduce costs and ensure safety.
