2PILLZ is a new music producer who is gaining popularity in Vietnamese rap.

On the evening of August 22nd, music producer 2PILLZ officially released his debut mixset album titled "the SUNset". Prior to this, 2PILLZ collaborated with GREY D on the music video "Tình Wá Akk", which is currently receiving much love from audiences thanks to its unique melody and fun, free-flowing dance version.

The "the SUNset" mixset album includes 8 songs: "My Beloved Girl" (feat. Tlinh), "You Are" (feat. Mono), "Sunset" (feat. Tlinh), "So Much Love" (feat. Grey D), "Really" (feat. Kimmese, Grey D), "I Just Want" (feat. Duong Thuy Duong), "I Really Think About You", and "If the Forecast Was Rainy Then".

Collaborating with four artists—Kimmese, tlinh, GREY D, and Mono—2PILLZ uses their voices to create a series of different sunset scenes.

The vocals in "the SUNset" mixset album also have a repetitive nature, lacking the full lyrics of a typical song, and are concise enough to create musical imagery.

The interesting thing about "the SUNset" is that it's a nonstop mixset album, not separating the tracks but connecting them all together to create a single track over 24 minutes long – a perfect sunset picture with a range of different emotions. At the same time, the titles of the songs in "the SUNset" mixset album, when read together, form a complete sentence.

2PILLZ also established the definition of "shaking" music.

The "SUNset" mixset album by 2PILLZ utilizes acoustic instruments such as guitar, piano, zither, saxophone, etc., combined with strings in classical music, as well as electronic elements with drums in house music, UK Garage, Hip-hop, and Jersey Club.

This blend creates contrast, bringing together elements that are rarely heard together in one song. Through this, 2PILLZ aims to bridge two seemingly disparate musical worlds – pop and dance music.

A popular music genre among young audiences today.

According to 2PILLZ, "the SUNset" mixset album belongs to the genre of… "lighthearted" music, a new concept he coined to describe upbeat party music that still makes listeners feel comfortable and relaxed.

"Dancing, bouncing, but touching music is what I aim for. The music in this mixset album is described by DJ Minh Trí as 'waves': they come and go, pushing listeners to different vibrational frequencies," 2PILLZ shared.
