On December 23rd, news from the Office of the People's Committee of An Giang province announced that Mr. Le Van Phuoc, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, had signed a plan to organize a competition to create a logo for An Giang province.
According to the plan, the competition will select one distinctive symbol that reflects the unique historical, cultural, economic, political , social, and foreign relations aspects of the province, contributing to building the image and positioning the brand of An Giang province among its people and domestic and international tourists.

The submitted logo design must not be identical to or cause confusion with any symbols, images, trademarks, or distinctive signs of any agency, organization, individual, or country in the world; nor must it have been previously recognized or published in any mass media.
The icon is designed with a maximum of 3 colors, ensuring usability, the ability to enlarge and reduce it, and the possibility of creating products on any material for long-term use.
The competition will be held from December 25, 2025 to March 5, 2026. Participants must be organizations or individuals who are Vietnamese citizens residing and working in Vietnam.
Entries should be submitted to the Department of Culture and Sports of An Giang Province (981 Nguyen Trung Truc Street, Rach Gia Ward, An Giang Province).
The competition offers one first prize of 50,000,000 VND and five consolation prizes of 10,000,000 VND each. The organizing committee will provide financial support to authors for revising their entries (rounds 2 and 3): 5,000,000 VND per author per round. The winning entry will be selected by the People's Committee of An Giang province to be the provincial emblem.
