Ninh Van fishing village, located in Dong Ninh Hoa ward ( Khanh Hoa province), nestles beside Hon Heo mountain, opening its doors to the vast ocean. Fishermen in the fishing village prepare essential supplies for a sea voyage. The boats are symbols of the vitality and hope of a fishing village that clings to the sea. After long voyages at sea, the simple joy of the locals is fishing on the pier.
Ninh Van Market is where locals sell their fresh, salty seafood after their fishing trips. The market only opens early in the morning each day. Market days are also a time for meeting and catching up – from carrying baskets of fish and bundles of vegetables to exchanging heartfelt greetings with neighbors from the coastal community. In Ninh Van, there is also a National Historical Monument - the C235 Ship Memorial Area, commemorating the heroic sacrifice of 14 officers and soldiers of the 125th Naval Regiment who bravely sacrificed themselves to keep the Ho Chi Minh Trail on the sea secret. Not only is it a spiritual place for the people, the historical site is also a significant landmark, a symbol of courage, and a source of spiritual support and traditional education for today's generation.
The sea is an endless playground, where children can freely frolic in the cool, blue water. The gentle smiles of the elderly, witnesses to countless generations growing up by the waves. The simplicity and rustic charm of coastal life have become a new attraction, drawing tourists back to Ninh Van. In the evening, the football field becomes a place where teenagers excitedly watch lively matches, bringing a summer day to a close.
