The British and Polish teams competed in the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) performance on the Han River on the evening of June 24.

The UK team brought to DIFF 2023 the story "Lighting up the world ", recalling 2 years of the whole world coming together to overcome challenges to defeat the Covid-19 pandemic. England was the runner-up team of DIFF 2019.

The England team's fireworks were set to a lively soundtrack, including many hits such as I Want To Break Free by Queen or Shallow by Lady Gaga…

The British team's fireworks transformed with beautiful effects, the explosion of music made the audience continuously applaud.

The second part of the display is a series of fireworks expressing happiness as the world returns to normal.

Pyrotex Fireworx fireworks team (representing the UK) said they spent a lot of time preparing for this festival, aiming to bring the most attractive performance to Vietnamese audiences.

The team has won many awards, with 14 first prizes in fireworks competitions and festivals in many countries. In 2022, the team won first prize at the Montreal International Fireworks Competition, Canada.

The Polish team performed a fireworks display called "Dragon Fireworks", inspired by the beauty of the Dragon Bridge (Da Nang) and the dragon, a mascot with natural power in East Asian beliefs.

The colors of the Polish team's fireworks remind viewers of the four elements of water, fire, earth and wind - embodying the power of nature.

Fireworks in the sky are considered as wishes for luck, prosperity and advancement for everyone.

On the evening of June 24, it did not rain in Da Nang, but the wind was strong, causing the smoke from the fireworks to not be able to dissipate in time, affecting the performance of both teams.

Locals and foreign tourists were swimming in the infinity pool on the 30th floor of Hoa Binh Green Hotel (Le Van Duyet Street, Son Tra District) while watching fireworks.

The final night of the 2023 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival will take place on July 8, with the performance of two excellent teams through 4 rounds.
