Meanwhile, the Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports team is determined to go further than last year's quarter-final mark. Coach Pham Minh commented: "The whole team is in good form and has maintained training before departing. What worries me is that the hot weather in Ho Chi Minh City might affect the players. We will have to adapt. The group we're in doesn't matter. Once we've qualified for the finals, every team is strong. The Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports team is ready."

At Tan Son Nhat Airport yesterday afternoon, all 27 members of the University of Economics (Hue University) team were excited about experiencing the grand festival of student football at Ton Duc Thang University. Team leader Nguyen Pham Bao Quy shared: "The whole team is very happy and enthusiastic about participating in the THACO Cup 2024 Student Football Finals. The University of Economics (Hue University) team is ready and will enter the tournament with the spirit of the tournament's slogan: Play beautifully - Win beautifully - Cheer beautifully. We will play our best, always abide by the regulations set by the organizing committee, and participate with a spirit of exchange and learning."

Team leader Nguyen Pham Bao Quy further expressed: "My team and I are very impressed with the professionalism of the organizing committee, from the tournament organization to the transportation of athletes to the finals. We feel more valued participating in the tournament. The teams from the University of Water Resources and the Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports were accommodated at the Dong Khanh Hotel by the organizers, while the team from the University of Economics (Hue University) stayed at the Thien Hong Hotel - both hotels belong to the Saigontourist Group in Ho Chi Minh City.
