On April 8, the Three Sheep Company (Hefei) launched its self-operated e-commerce app "Little Yang Zhenxuan". The event attracted attention and quickly entered the top search results on Weibo. According to experts, the move is to limit dependence on large platforms. However, the company's employees will still broadcast simultaneously on Douyin.
Before the scandal of poor quality mooncakes in September 2024, Ba Con Cua and his brothers Dai Duong and Tieu Duong led the online sales industry in China. Tieu Duong's fan base once reached 120 million, making him one of the most famous KOLs in the country of a billion people.
After suspicions of selling counterfeit goods, over-advertising, and deceiving customers, the Hefei Market Regulation Bureau investigated and determined that the company had violated the law. The three sheep were fined nearly 69 million yuan (242 billion VND). At the same time, the company's sales broadcast activities were suspended.

Speaking to Upstream News , Peng Hongyu, a media expert and graduate of Tsinghua University, said that Three Sheep released its own app to prepare for risks to the platform. “Since last year, the influence of Internet celebrities has been declining. The cost of driving traffic is getting higher and higher. The trend is for them to build their own apps,” Peng said.
Sharing the same view, Mr. Dai, an e-commerce expert, said that Ba Con Cuu is worried about the unexpected when encountering defective products and having accounts suspended by the platform in the future. If that situation happens, years of building efforts will be lost. However, this ambition is not easy to achieve for Ba Con Cuu company.
The image of the Dai Duong - Tieu Duong brothers was seriously affected after the fake mooncake scandal. A large number of fans left and no longer trust the products advertised by these people.
After its launch, the Tieu Duong Chan Tuyen application only reached over 1,000 downloads despite being a hot topic of discussion on the Internet. The software continues to exploit Tieu Duong's image to attract customers. Sales on the app are also very limited, mostly still zero. The most sold item is the trash bag, with only over 60 downloads.
The release of the app is the first activity of Ba Con Cuu after more than 200 days of silence. However, the brothers Dai Duong - Tieu Duong and the famous broadcasters of this business have not appeared yet. The company refused to answer the press about the case of these characters.
