U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris is shifting her campaign strategy to gain more support from male and Republican voters. At the same time, she is intensifying her attacks on former President Donald Trump after he gained an advantage in the latest polls. An advisor said that after weeks of focusing on campaign policy, Harris will return to her image as a prosecutor. This is expected to demonstrate her strength in the eyes of voters, especially those who may be drawn to Trump's strong image. According to a nationwide Reuters/Ipsos poll, Harris's lead over Trump has narrowed to just 3 points. More worrying for Democrats is that the two candidates are neck and neck in seven battleground states that will decide the race. The polls come as food and rent prices remain high, and the pressing issue of immigration continues to worry Americans. Some prominent analysts say Harris's policies would create less debt and boost economic growth more than Trump's, but polls show voters trust him more on economic issues.
