Ms. Pham Minh Huong returns to the position of VNDirect's chairwoman.

Accordingly, the Board of Directors (BOD) of VNDirect passed a resolution on Mr. Nguyen Vu Long resigning from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors to assume the position of General Director, member of the Board of Directors and legal representative of the company.

VNDirect's Board of Directors also approved Ms. Pham Minh Huong's resignation from the position of General Director to assume the position of Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and legal representative of the company.

Thus, Ms. Huong has returned to the position of Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of this securities company after about 5 months of leaving the position to take on the position of General Director. Ms. Huong was born in 1966 and started holding the position of Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and General Director of VNDirect since 2006.

Mr. Nguyen Vu Long was born in 1987, graduated with a master's degree from the University of New South Wales, majoring in economics , and has more than 9 years of experience in the field of investment and finance. Mr. Long has been with VNDirect for more than 7 years in many important positions such as Head of Currency Trading Department, Director of Capital Resources, Acting General Director, and Member of the Board of Directors.

VNDirect is currently the top 3 securities company in terms of brokerage market share on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange with a rate of 7.27% as of the second quarter of 2023, behind VPS and SSI.

In the first 6 months of 2023, VNDirect NDirect Securities recorded operating revenue of VND 2,878 billion, down 20% over the same period, and profit also dropped sharply by 56% to VND 561 billion.

The company's VND shares were at VND24,750 at the close of trading on September 19, up about 50% over the past four months.
