Bac Kan opens the 2025 Cau River Basin Regional Specialty Fair

Delegates attended the ribbon cutting ceremony to open the Fair.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Phuong Thi Thanh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Dang Binh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the provincial departments, branches and sectors along with a large number of people and tourists inside and outside the province.

The fair has the participation of 80 booths from provinces and cities in the Cau River basin including: Hanoi , Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Hai Duong and Bac Kan. The booths display a variety of OCOP products, regional specialties, typical rural industrial products, handicrafts, processed foods and goods imbued with local culture.

The fair will last until April 29, 2025, open to the public and visitors. Immediately after the opening ceremony, the fair attracted thousands of visitors to visit, experience and shop, contributing to creating momentum to promote local economic development and strengthen regional connectivity.

People and tourists participate in the Fair

During the Fair, Bac Kan province also organized many attractive activities within the "Bac Kan Culture - Tourism Week" such as: Intangible cultural heritage performance; tourism photo exhibition; culinary fair; mountain bike race and especially the seminar on promoting investment in tourism development in the Cau River basin... These activities aim to introduce the potential and strengths of tourism, trade and agriculture of Bac Kan in particular and the provinces in the Cau River basin in general./.
