Former Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan passed away on June 21. During his lifetime, he participated in many major historical events of the country, and one of those events was the Paris Agreement on ending the war and restoring peace in Vietnam, officially signed in Paris (France) on January 27, 1973, which holds a special position, a historical milestone, the "door to peace" of our country in the resistance war against the US to save the country. The late Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan was a member of the delegation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Duy Trinh to the capital of France to sign this Agreement. Nearly 5 months ago, due to health reasons, he could not attend the scientific conference "50 years of the Paris Agreement on ending the war and restoring peace in Vietnam - Historical significance and lessons learned" but he tried to record his private thoughts on the significance and lessons learned from this agreement.
