The company's goal is to maintain the starting price of the iPhone 18 Pro models at the same level as the iPhone 17 Pro models. In the US, the iPhone 17 Pro starts at $1,099, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max starts at $1,199.

Analyst Jeff Pu said Apple has been in talks with Samsung and SK Hynix to reach agreements on memory chips. The move comes amid soaring DRAM and NAND prices due to supply shortages.

Meanwhile, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also revealed Apple's plan for the iPhone 18 Pro models is to "avoid price increases as much as possible."

According to ETNews , the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will be the first iPhones from Apple to feature a camera system with variable aperture, offering greater flexibility in all lighting conditions.

This feature allows users to adjust the amount of light entering the sensor depending on the shooting environment. Specifically, when shooting in low light conditions, the aperture will automatically widen to capture more light, resulting in brighter and more detailed images.

Conversely, when shooting outdoors in bright sunlight, the aperture will narrow, preventing overexposure and helping to reproduce colors more accurately.
