Baldur's Gate 3 has been released on Xbox.

According to VGC , after a long wait, the Xbox Series X/S version of Baldur's Gate 3 has finally been officially released. As developer Larian had previously promised, the Xbox version of the critically acclaimed RPG was revealed at The Game Awards 2023.

At the event, the game was added to the Xbox Store, and notably, Baldur's Gate 3 also won the prestigious "Game of the Year" award. The game was nominated for 8 awards at this year's Game Awards, an impressive number only matched by Alan Wake 2 .

Baldur's Gate 3 was released for Windows PC in August and for PlayStation 5 and Mac a month later. The game is one of the most critically acclaimed titles of its generation and has also been a huge commercial success.

Larian announced last month that the game will have a physical Deluxe version, scheduled for release in the first quarter of next year and will be available on Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms for $79.99.

The Deluxe version will include several additions such as a physical copy, a world map, soundtrack, Mind Flayer posters, a Deluxe box designed to match the 'big box' of the previous PC version, 32 stickers, and two patches.

Last month, Swen Vincke, founder and CEO of Larian, said he was honored that the studio's game had received numerous nominations for awards at The Game Awards 2023.
