Bo joins the association

As is customary, the Bản Bo commune in Tam Đường district organizes a festival every year. Through this, they promote the cultural identity of the Thái ethnic group and introduce and publicize the beauty, potential, and strengths of Bản Bo to tourists.

Author Yen Anh Khong submitted her work "Ban Bo Village Festival" to the "Happy Vietnam 2025" competition. Location of creation: Ban Bo Commune, Lai Chau Province , Vietnam.

The festival is held in Na Khuong village, Ban Bo commune, Lai Chau province. The ceremonial part involves reenacting the gong procession and New Year's rituals to inform the Earth God, request permission to hold the festival, and to pray for divine blessings for favorable weather, bountiful harvests, abundant livestock, and a prosperous and happy life. The festive part includes cultural performances, sports competitions, stream fishing contests, and culinary competitions. The festival has attracted many domestic and foreign tourists.
