The event, organized by the UNESCO Information Center - Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations, attracted the participation of many experts, researchers and business representatives, discussing the potential for developing new tourism products based on the value of cave heritage combined with cultural and creative elements.
Speaking at the seminar, Dr. Do Tran Phuong, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Tourism, Hanoi University of Culture, commented: "Integrating cultural industry in cave exploitation not only opens up a new direction for Quang Ninh tourism, but can also spread to many other localities with similar resources."
According to Dr. Do Tran Phuong, tourism products associated with archeology, history, live performance art or creative exhibitions inside caves will help enhance the experience for tourists, meeting the new trends of the smokeless industry.
However, Dr. Phuong also emphasized that bringing cultural industry into heritage space must strictly comply with legal regulations and conservation principles, ensuring harmony between exploiting and preserving natural values, while creating livelihoods for local communities.

A leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province said that recently, in Cam Pha City (Quang Ninh), an art program was also held in a cave. This event marked a new step in building tourism products, enhancing the experience for visitors and effectively exploiting the potential of cultural tourism.
In addition, Quang Ninh province also hopes that the new tourism product in the cave will not only be an attractive destination, but also contribute to realizing the goal of welcoming 20 million visitors in 2025, with the province's economic growth rate of over 14%.
The seminar is considered an important step in the journey to promote creative economy for sustainable development, opening up new prospects for the cultural industry and night-time economy model in Quang Ninh and many other similarly resource-rich localities.
