Located more than 50km from the center of Binh Duong , the Nui Cau protective forest area in Dau Tieng district, Binh Duong province is considered the "green lung" that regulates the air not only for this "industrial capital", but also for some provinces in the Southeast region such as Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City...
Tha La Peninsula is located at the foot of Nui Cau protective forest, on one side is the vast Dau Tieng lake.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, Tha La peninsula has mountains, forests, and lakes, large enough and peaceful enough to relax and rest.
Mr. Nguyen Van Truong, a worker at Song Than 2 Industrial Park (Di An City, Binh Duong Province), shared that on a scorching hot weekend in mid-March, he and his group of friends went to Tha La peninsula, located in the Nui Cau protective forest, and were delighted.
"On one side is a clear blue lake, on the other side is a vast forest, truly a place to rest and relax on days off" - Mr. Truong said, explaining why this place is called the "green lung" in the heart of the city.
Many tourists come to Tha La to feel the fresh air.
According to Mr. Thi Thanh Hoa (65 years old, local resident), recently, more and more tourists have come to this area, so his family and many other households have opened restaurants to serve tourists.
According to Mr. Hoa, during the week there are few customers, but on weekends there are many. The stable revenue from opening the restaurant has helped his family increase their income and improve their lives.
Cau Mountain Protective Forest (Dau Tieng) has an area of about 1,600 hectares. This is a special green lung that regulates the climate for Binh Duong, Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City provinces, and is also responsible for preventing erosion of Dau Tieng Lake, protecting Dau Tieng Lake dam, which is holding over 1.5 billion m3 of water to supply the entire Southeast region.
