The book festival "An Khanh - Book Fest 2025" with 7 unique experience spaces: book exhibition; books and digital technology ; books and trees; children's games; youth start-ups; cultural transmission; culinary culture. In addition, the festival also brings a series of cultural and artistic exchange activities, a playground for children, contributing to building healthy reading, learning and entertainment habits for the community.
In particular, with the talk show “Saigon Bao Thuong - Cultural Flow in the Digital Age” with the participation of journalist Vu Kim Hanh - author of the book Saigon Bao Thuong and Mr. Nguyen Tuan Quynh, Chairman of Saigon Books. The program brings up stories about how to preserve and spread Saigon's cultural values in the context of digital technology.
Ms. Pham Thi Hoan, Vice Chairwoman of An Khanh Ward People's Committee, said that cultural, artistic, entertainment and tourism programs are built into a series of events and organized periodically at the Riverside Park and Creative Park. Each time it is organized, the ward will bring different experiences for residents and visitors to experience.
Opening the festival series will be meaningful activities to welcome the Mid-Autumn Festival, street music, New Year events... All cultural and tourism activities are organized throughout to promote the image of An Khanh ward, dynamic, modern, and internationally integrated.
"The An Khanh - Book Fest 2025 program is not only a book festival but also a cultural, tourism and service meeting place... thereby contributing to making An Khanh a cultural and tourism gateway of the eastern urban area of Ho Chi Minh City," Ms. Pham Thi Hoan added.
On this occasion, An Khanh Ward Youth Union coordinated with the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, Thu Thiem Branch to award 24 scholarships to children in difficult circumstances, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and accompanying the community.
