Established in 2010, Vinaconex Charity Association and Friends has more than 40 members. With the desire to support children in difficult circumstances, the association has organized many meaningful charity and social activities.
After receiving information about the tragic drowning incidents, Vinaconex Charity Association and friends focused on mobilizing resources to build many "Swimming Pools for Children", giving them to schools in rural areas with many difficulties, including Quang Tri .

At the inauguration and handover ceremony, representatives of Vinaconex Charity Association and friends from the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union presented a symbolic plaque and handed over the project “Swimming Pool for Children” to the leaders of Cam Hieu Primary and Secondary School and Hai Son Primary and Secondary School. Each swimming pool is 24.6m long; 8.1m wide; 1.2m high.
The total cost of completing the two pools was over 300 million VND. During the program, representatives of the Vinaconex Charity Association and friends also presented 50 swimming goggles and 50 life jackets to students from each school.

It is known that up to now, Vinaconex Charity Association and friends have donated 5 “Swimming Pools for Children” in the districts of Dakrong, Trieu Phong, Vinh Linh, Hai Lang and Cam Lo. The schools that received the swimming pools are all located in areas vulnerable to storms and floods.
Delighted to have just received support from Vinaconex Charity Association and friends, Principal of Cam Hieu Primary and Secondary School Le Duc Hung affirmed that this is a meaningful gift for the staff, teachers and students of the school. Putting the project "Swimming Pool for Children" into use will help the school more conveniently equip students with life skills, especially skills to prevent and combat drowning. We will strive to maximize the effectiveness of the project, not letting down the sponsors".
