Handing over the Humanitarian House

On December 5th, the Thanh Son District Red Cross Society, in coordination with the Dong Cuu Commune People's Committee, organized a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a humanitarian house to the family of Ms. Dinh Thi Ngan in Mu Hamlet, Dong Cuu Commune, Thanh Son District. Ms. Ngan is a poor household facing particularly difficult circumstances.

Representatives of the sponsors presented funding to support the construction of a humanitarian house for the family of Ms. Dinh Thi Ngan in Mu hamlet, Dong Cuu commune, Thanh Son district.

Ms. Ngan is a single mother raising two children, living in a cramped, unsafe 15m2 makeshift house. Tragically, on September 19th of this year, one of her children drowned. In response to this situation, the Thanh Son District Red Cross Society mobilized and connected with sponsors to build a humanitarian house for Ms. Ngan's family. The house is a single-story structure with a construction area of ​​40m2, costing a total of 120 million VND. Of this amount, the Thanh Son District Chess Club contributed over 50 million VND; HAT Mineral and Construction Company Limited contributed 20 million VND; and the remaining funds came from donations from benefactors, family members, and local authorities who mobilized community support through labor.

The Humanitarian House was handed over to the family of Ms. Dinh Thi Ngan in Mu hamlet, Dong Cuu commune, Thanh Son district, by representatives of the Thanh Son District Red Cross Society and sponsors.

After nearly two months of construction, the house has now been completed and handed over to Ms. Ngan's family for use just in time for the Lunar New Year, helping her family overcome difficulties, comforting them during the grief of losing a loved one, and stabilizing their lives.
