In Dinh Thanh commune, the Provincial Women's Union handed over a charity house to the family of Ms. Doan Thi Dong, a female member with especially difficult circumstances, residing in Lung Chim hamlet. The house has an area of ​​nearly 60 square meters, with a total construction cost of 60 million VND, supported by the Provincial Women's Union mobilizing support from benefactors.

Moved by the new house, Ms. Dong shared: “I am truly grateful to the Women’s Union and the generous donors. With such a solid house, I can work with peace of mind and no longer worry about storms.”

On this occasion, the Provincial Women's Union and the Commune People's Committee presented necessities and household items to Ms. Dong's family.

On the same day, in Vinh Loi commune, the Provincial Women's Union handed over a charity house to the family of Ms. Lam Thi Lua, a member of the Women's Union with housing difficulties, residing in Ba Chang hamlet. The house cost a total of 60 million VND, which is a great source of encouragement to help her work with peace of mind and strive to stabilize her life.

Ms. Lua emotionally said: “Before, my family lived in an old, dilapidated house, and we were always worried during the rainy and stormy season. Now that we have a new, spacious house, I am very happy and very grateful to the Women's Union and the donors. This is the motivation for me to work with peace of mind and move forward in life.”

Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Linh, President of the Women's Union of Ca Mau province, awarded scholarships to poor but studious students in Vinh Loi commune.

On this occasion, the Provincial Women's Union awarded 10 scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND, to students in difficult circumstances in Vinh Loi commune, contributing to giving them more motivation to go to school.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Linh, President of the Women's Union of Ca Mau province, said that this is one of the practical social security activities of the Union, welcoming the Provincial Party Congress and the Women's Congress of Ca Mau province. During this period, the Union plans to present 20 charity houses, each worth 60 million VND, for poor women members with housing difficulties.

"Through this activity, the Association hopes to spread the spirit of charity and sharing and contribute to effectively implementing the province's social security goals," Ms. Linh emphasized.
