Romanian press on January 19 reported extensively on the upcoming official visit of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to this country.

Graiul Maramuresului newspaper has an article about Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit.

With the title “Friendship between countries geographically distant but spiritually close,” the author of the article - Mr. Pavel Suian - introduced the geographical location of Vietnam, as well as the bilateral relationship that has been established and nurtured over the past decades.

The article wrote that over the past 40 years, Vietnam's economy has developed rapidly and in these years has recorded continuous growth of 6-7%, even 8%.

Under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vietnam has achieved remarkable achievements. Currently, Vietnam is a member of dozens of multilateral organizations and forums.

The article clearly states the long-term doctrine in Vietnam's foreign policy towards independence, sovereignty, preserving national identity, protecting by diplomatic means the unity and solidarity of the people, relying on internal strength, and diversifying relations between countries.

According to the author, Vietnam advocates expanding cooperation with many countries in the world, promoting the country's integration in all fields.

At this time, the Vietnamese Government is making efforts to make Vietnam one of the leading countries in the world entering the 4th Industrial Revolution.

To be able to use new technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), the Vietnamese Government has made a series of decisions to improve the level of general education, establish research and technology institutes, encourage the use of new AI technologies, modernize businesses through the use of AI, and make new investments in technology research.

The Adevarul daily also published an article titled “Vietnamese Prime Minister pays official visit to Romania to promote economic cooperation.”

According to the article, the official welcoming ceremony for Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation will take place on January 22 at Victoria Palace, where the Vietnamese Prime Minister will also hold talks with Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu.

The article also quoted government spokesman Mihai Constantin as saying: “On January 22, Romania will hold a ceremony to welcome the delegation led by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Accompanying the delegation will be other high-ranking officials.”

According to Mr. Mihai Constantin, Romania and Vietnam will sign a number of documents during this visit.

In addition, a bilateral economic forum will also be held, during which the two countries will propose the signing of a draft Memorandum of Understanding on promoting cooperation in the business sector, as well as identifying economic sectors of interest between the Romanian Ministry of Economy, Enterprise and Tourism and the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade.
