In preparation for the 16th National Assembly elections and the elections for People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, Thai Nguyen Power Company has proactively implemented a comprehensive range of solutions to ensure safe, stable, and continuous electricity supply, effectively serving activities before, during, and after the elections in the province.

According to the election plan, Thai Nguyen province has 5 constituencies for National Assembly representatives, 29 constituencies for Provincial People's Council representatives, and 730 polling stations in communes and wards. The workload is large, the scope is wide, and the technical requirements are high... but recognizing this as a key political task, Thai Nguyen Power Company has developed detailed power supply plans for each area and location; clearly assigning responsibilities to subordinate units and specialized departments.

Inspection and supervision efforts have also been strengthened to proactively prevent, promptly detect, and handle any situations that may arise during operation.

The entire medium and low voltage power grid system in the area has been comprehensively reviewed. Deficiencies have been promptly rectified, and equipment at risk of failure has been replaced according to plan. In addition, sufficient spare parts and equipment have been prepared; personnel and vehicles are always ready to be deployed quickly to handle any incidents should they occur.

The company also arranged for leadership and operational staff to be on duty 24/7 throughout the period before, during, and after the election, ensuring smooth communication.

At key locations such as election steering headquarters, vote counting centers, and several key polling areas, backup generators have been installed, tested, and are ready for use when needed.

The Hotline repair team collaborates in cleaning insulators and washing substation porcelain insulators to help ensure the safe and continuous operation of the power grid.

Simultaneously, the company, in coordination with the Hotline Repair Team, organized the cleaning of insulators and washing of porcelain insulators at substations using hotline technology without the need to cut off power. This solution helps to reduce the risk of incidents caused by dust and dirt, ensuring stable and continuous operation of the power grid.

Alongside technical work, Thai Nguyen Power Company proactively coordinates closely with local authorities and election steering committees at all levels to update the list and locations of polling stations. Based on this, power supply plans are agreed upon to suit the actual conditions of each area, enhancing proactiveness and minimizing risks during operation.

A stable power supply plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of lighting systems and equipment serving voters. This is also a necessary condition for the compilation, counting, and storage of votes, as well as for the information, propaganda, and operational activities of relevant authorities.
