Ensure progress in enriching and cleaning up land databases

On October 2, the Department of Agriculture and Environment held a conference to implement the campaign to enrich and clean up the national database on land in Dak Lak province.

Attending the conference were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van; leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; representatives of relevant departments and branches and 102 communes and wards in the province.

According to Plan 60/KH-UBND, dated September 18, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing Plan No. 515/KH-BCA-BNN&MT, dated August 31, 2025 of the Ministry of Public Security - Ministry of Agriculture and Environment on implementing the campaign to enrich and clean up the national land database in Dak Lak province, the whole province will review and classify land data that has been built up to now (about nearly 3.5 million land plots in 102/102 communes and wards); build residential land and housing data for places where the database has not been built; synchronize, connect, and share a unified, shared land database; manage and operate land databases and online public services.

Up to now, regarding the work of verifying information with the national population database, 1.06 million land plots have been successfully matched, 0.52 million land plots have not been matched (due to incorrect information on identity cards, citizen identification cards, full names, and year of birth). Currently, the Land Registration Office and its branches are focusing on enriching, cleaning, and supplementing data to overcome this problem.

At the conference, the Organizing Committee disseminated the Procedure for enriching and cleaning the national land database; disseminated documents and forms with instructions for localities to collect certificates of land and housing for which land databases have not yet been established; disseminated the content on matching and authenticating information and data of land and housing users on the existing database and thoroughly grasped the work of ensuring security, safety and confidentiality of information and data of the information system...

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van emphasized that the work of cleaning, clarifying and enriching the land database is an extremely important task, contributing to modernizing land management, improving the quality of providing public services on land and reforming administrative procedures on land for people and businesses.

To successfully carry out the tasks according to the set plan, all levels, sectors and localities need to strengthen leadership, direction and administration, identify this as a key political task and take synchronous action.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment plays a core role, presiding over and coordinating with relevant agencies and units to comprehensively implement tasks; provide professional guidance, urge progress, and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for localities.

At the same time, ensure the unity, synchronization and quality of land databases in the whole province; relevant departments and branches proactively coordinate to implement contents under their authority related to the campaign to enrich and clean up the national land database.

Commune-level People's Committees need to link the responsibility of leaders with implementation results, promptly establish steering committees, working groups, detailed plans, clearly assign people, tasks, progress, and responsibilities, ensuring quality and efficiency of work.

In addition, sectors and localities need to promptly commend and reward groups and individuals who do well; and rectify and strictly handle cases of negligence, lack of responsibility, and obstruction of progress. At the same time, step up information and propaganda work to the people according to the motto "go to every alley, knock on every door".
