The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and head coach Kim Sang Sik have officially submitted a request to the Ministry of Justice to request support for naturalization procedures for two Brazilian foreign players currently playing in the V-League, midfielder Geovane Magno (31 years old, Ninh Binh FC) and center back Janclesio (32 years old, Ninh Binh FC).

CNN Indonesia emphasized: “Basically, Geovane Magno and Janclesio are both eligible for Vietnamese citizenship after playing here for 6 years. Therefore, coach Kim Sang Sik proposed naturalizing these two players to strengthen the Vietnamese team.

Geovane Magno is one of the top midfielders in the V-League at the moment. He is highly appreciated for his excellent technique and creativity. Geovane Magno started playing for Saigon FC in 2019. After that, he went to Hanoi FC, The Cong Viettel , Hanoi Police, Ha Tinh and Ninh Binh.

Meanwhile, center back Janclesio is 1.96m tall. He is very strong in aerial combat and disputes. Janclesio played for many clubs such as The Cong Viettel, Da Nang, Ha Tinh, Binh Duong , before coming to Ninh Binh.

If these two players are successfully naturalized, the strength of the Vietnamese team will increase significantly. Previously, they successfully naturalized Xuan Son.
