Dear readers, please follow the news this morning: Director Phi Tien Son explains the name "Peach, Pho and Piano"; Ly Hoang Nam dramatically defeated his Dutch opponent, winning the championship cup in Thailand ; 'Cu li khong bao nuoc' won Best Debut Film at the Berlin Film Festival; Coach Philippe Troussier came to Japan to watch Cong Phuong compete and meet him privately; 'Oppenheimer' won a big prize for the pre-Oscar.
In response to the audience's questions, director Phi Tien Son answered in the media: "These three concepts are very typical. Since ancient times, peach blossoms blooming in spring have been very Hanoian .
Pho is available in many places, but the concept of Hanoi pho is always very special. The piano is still in that historical period somewhere echoing from the windows, perhaps only in big cities like Hanoi and Saigon."
Speaking more about the spirit and character of Hanoi people in the film, director Phi Tien Son shared:
"This film wants to praise the character of Hanoi people facing the danger of the nation... Those who have guns use guns, those who don't have guns use sticks to protect their neighborhood.
The patriotism in this film is intense, lasting from beginning to end. Our people love their country everywhere. But the people of Hanoi also have some strange features."
Peach, Pho and Piano is a state-ordered film from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, written and directed by Phi Tien Son.
The film recreates the 60-day Dong Xuan battle from late 1946 to early 1947 in Hanoi.
Amidst the war, the film also depicts the love story of militiaman Van Dan (played by Doan Quoc Dam) and Hanoi's young lady Thuc Huong (played by Cao Thi Thuy Linh); an old painter (played by Tran Luc) who hopes to leave a valuable painting for the world; a pho couple who want to finish cooking a pot of pho before evacuating...
Ly Hoang Nam dramatically defeated his Dutch opponent and won the championship cup in Thailand.
At the final of the M15 Thailand Tennis Tournament on the afternoon of February 25, Ly Hoang Nam came from behind to defeat Dutch opponent Maarten Jong (6-7, 7-6, 6-4) to win the championship.
At M15 Thailand, Ly Hoang Nam is the 5th seed. In round 1, he defeated Auytayakul of Thailand.
Ly Hoang Nam then defeated Yamasaki (Japan), Decamps (Brazil) and second seed Orel Kimhi (Israel) to advance to the final.
His opponent in the final was Maarten Jong, the 8th seed. This partly shows that Ly Hoang Nam is rated higher. However, the Vietnamese player did not have a good start.
However, Ly Hoang Nam did not let his spirit collapse. He quickly regained his confidence in the second game to continue to bring a tense chase.
This is Ly Hoang Nam's first championship since October 2022.
At the same time, he will also receive 10 ATP points.

Pham Ngoc Lan's "Cu Li Khong Bao Nhat Cry" won Best Debut Film at the Berlin Film Festival with a 50,000 euro prize, on the morning of February 25 (Hanoi time).

Coach Philippe Troussier came to Japan to watch Cong Phuong play and meet him privately.
On February 25, the head coach of the Vietnamese national team arrived in Japan. The purpose of Mr. Troussier's trip was to meet and talk privately with striker Cong Phuong , who is in his second season at Yokohama FC.
The French coach watched live the match between Yokohama B and Renofa Yamaguchi B. According to the VFF report, Cong Phuong played the full 90 minutes. A day earlier, he was not registered in the list of 18 players in the opening match of J-League 2.
After the match between Yokohama B team and Renofa Yamaguchi, Coach Troussier met privately with Cong Phuong. He proactively updated information and encouraged the Vietnamese player. He hoped Phuong would try his best to find opportunities to play in J-League 2.
The more Cong Phuong plays, the greater the chance he will be called back to the Vietnam national team in March. Previously, coach Troussier had left his name off the list for the 2023 Asian Cup in January 2024 because he did not play regularly.
