Storm No. 6 has wind gusts of level 11, forecast to weaken tonight

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicts that by 10 p.m. on August 30, storm No. 6 will move west-northwest at 20 km/h, make landfall in Ha Tinh-North Quang Tri, and weaken into a tropical depression.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, due to the influence of storm No. 6, at Bach Long Vi, the wind is level 7, gusting to level 9; at Co To, the wind is level 6-7, gusting to level 8; at Con Co, the wind is level 6, gusting to level 8.

Provinces from Nghe An to Da Nang have had heavy rain, some places have very heavy rain over 170mm.

At 10:00 a.m. on August 30, the storm center was at 17.9 degrees North latitude - 107.5 degrees East longitude ( Ha Tinh - Quang Tri sea), about 120 km east of Quang Tri. Strong winds level 8 (62-74 km/h), gusting to level 10-11, moving West Northwest at 20-25 km/h.

Storm No. 6 has strong winds of level 8, gusts of 10-11, which can cause trees to fall, roofs to blow off, and is dangerous for boats and rafts. The sea is very rough.

Forecast by 10pm on August 30, the storm will move West-Northwest at 20km/h, make landfall in Ha Tinh-North Quang Tri , weaken into a tropical depression. Location 18.1 degrees North latitude - 105.3 degrees East longitude (Vietnam-Laos border). Wind level 6, gust 8.

At 10:00 a.m. on August 31, the storm continued to move West-Northwest at 20 km/h, entering Central Laos, weakening into a low pressure area.
