Set challenging goals
Regarding import-export management, according to the Ninh Binh Department of Industry and Trade, from the beginning of the year, the Department has closely followed the export plan assigned by the province, issued an Export Development Plan, focusing on supporting businesses with market information, disseminating and clarifying the benefits of free trade agreements, providing timely information on trade defense measures of importing countries; updating and notifying changes in import-export policies and customs clearance from major trading partners.
Coordinate with functional units of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to organize 7 direct and online conferences to create conditions for businesses to have useful information to access the market as quickly as possible. Conduct surveys, work to grasp the export situation at businesses, and at the same time perform well the work of statistics and reporting on the import and export situation of businesses in the province.
The Department also advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue an Action Plan to implement the Strategy for Import and Export of Goods to 2030; established an interdisciplinary inspection team to inspect production capacity and issue textile and garment manufacturer codes (MID) for 4 enterprises exporting to the US market; created bilingual clips and introductory publications. The Department also appraised and issued 6,197 sets of C/O, of which 100% were done electronically via the Internet.
With the results achieved in the past year, in 2024 Ninh Binh is determined to achieve the target of 3,250,000 million USD in export turnover, an increase of 2.8% compared to the estimated implementation in 2023.
