Group of young men driving a car to steal durian in Lam Dong arrested

On August 31, Lam Ha District Police (Lam Dong) arrested Pham Quoc Khanh (38 years old, residing in Bu Dang District, Binh Phuoc ); Nguyen Ngoc Hieu (31 years old), Hoang Thanh Son (33 years old), both residing in Di Linh District (Lam Dong) to investigate the act of property theft.

According to initial information, in recent days, this group of 3 young men drove 2 cars and motorbikes to the communes of Tan Thanh, Tan Ha, Dan Phuong (Lam Ha district) and then broke into people's gardens to steal durian.

After stealing durian, the group loaded it onto a truck and brought it to purchasing facilities in Di Linh district (Lam Dong), dividing the money among themselves.

Very quickly afterwards, the group of thieves were arrested by the police. In addition, Lam Ha District Police temporarily seized evidence of the case including 2 7-seat cars, a motorbike and 199 durians.

Lam Ha District Police are coordinating with Di Linh District Police to consolidate records and investigate the case.
