After two days of meticulous preparation by the Organizing Committee and the enthusiastic participation of hundreds of speakers, media experts, and renowned journalists, the 2nd National Press Forum 2025 concluded successfully.
Speaking at the closing session, Comrade Le Quoc Minh, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, affirmed: The 2nd National Press Forum became an impressive highlight in the series of activities commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press and attracted special attention from the press and the public. With meticulous preparation in content, guest selection, the leadership and guidance of experienced moderators, and the participation of 70 speakers – leading journalists and media experts – all contributed to the high-quality sessions of the 2025 National Press Forum.
In a world undergoing rapid transformation under the impact of digital technology , artificial intelligence, and globalization, Vietnamese journalism is facing unprecedented challenges, while also presenting significant opportunities if it proactively adapts and innovates. The rise of social media video and personalized news also poses enormous challenges directly impacting mainstream media outlets. However, this new era also offers journalism many opportunities to assert its leading role.
Comrade Le Quoc Minh, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, presented flowers to the speakers at the closing session.
To maintain its position and achieve sustainable development, the necessary solution is for the press to improve the quality of its content and core values; the press must redefine its mission, not as the fastest source of information, but as the most insightful and reliable information. This is also the central topic of discussion at this year's National Press Conference.
The forum's discussions not only provide an intellectual space and dialogue for journalists nationwide, but also open up avenues and opportunities for modern Vietnamese journalism to innovate and create in line with the spirit of Resolution 57 of the Politburo , developing professionally, modernly, and humanely in the new era, the era of national progress.
