Contributing to the Forum, delegates from the two countries gave reports on cooperation in the fields of science, technology, health; economics , trade, law and tourism, culture, education, arts, cooperation in the field of cultural industry, etc.

In his closing speech at the Forum, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations - Mr. Phan Anh Son assessed: The first Vietnam - Russia People's Forum was successfully organized, ensuring the set goals. Within the framework of the forum, the discussion sessions took place enthusiastically, highlighting issues of mutual concern. The contributions of the delegates demonstrated their enthusiasm and high responsibility in promoting the relationship between the two countries and specific areas of cooperation between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

Mr. Phan Anh Son emphasized that Vietnam and the Russian Federation have a special relationship, based on the sentiments and historical and cultural ties between the two peoples. Although they have not yet set foot in Russia, many Vietnamese people still love Russia, its culture, history and cuisine . Cooperation between the two peoples needs to be maintained; the tradition of friendship and substantive cooperation needs to be promoted, strengthened, and brought into full play, in line with the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries. There is still much room for cooperation between Vietnam and Russia, especially in the fields of economic cooperation, trade, investment, etc. The field of people-to-people diplomacy needs to be focused on exploiting through the system of enterprises and local connections, cultural exchanges, etc.

In addition to the above areas of cooperation, cooperation in science and technology, digital transformation, culture and arts also needs to be promoted, through universities, research institutes, training facilities and performing arts units. Legislative cooperation between the two countries, both at the central and local levels, also needs to be focused on. The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations has preliminarily built five groups of Vietnamese delegates to attend the second Vietnam - Russia People's Forum in Russia. These include: central and local friendship associations; young generations, representatives of twinned localities with Russia; universities and research institutes, and representatives of potential businesses. These will be the main subjects attending the next Forum.

On behalf of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the co-organizers of the first Vietnam - Russia People's Forum, Mr. Phan Anh Son expressed his sincere thanks to Russian friends, delegates, businesses and news agencies, newspapers of the two countries... for attending and accompanying. The Forum received many useful comments, contributing to promoting the traditional friendship and the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation to develop further.

At the closing session, Mr. Vyacheslav G. Kalganov, Vice Chairman of the Saint Petersburg Foreign Affairs Committee, expressed his thanks to Vietnamese friends, international delegates, news agencies and press of the two countries for attending and contributing ideas, contributing to the success of the Forum.

According to Mr. Vyacheslav G. Kalganov, the Forum has brought together many diverse elements, but all of them converge into a common voice and together nurture the aspiration to continue to consolidate and strengthen the relationship between the two countries. This is also an expression of respect for previous generations who have devoted their efforts to building the Vietnam - Russia friendship. Therefore, the Russian people will continue to foster the friendship between the two countries through concrete actions with practical results, especially in the fields of economy and community cooperation.

In an interview with VNA, Mr. Vyacheslav G. Kalganov said that the Russian Federation in general and the Saint Petersburg region of the Russian Federation in particular attach great importance to cooperation areas with Vietnam, especially local partners in Vietnam. In addition to Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong City, Thanh Hoa Province..., in 2025, Hanoi became a sister city of Saint Petersburg. This is the honor and pride of Saint Petersburg and a solid foundation for the two countries to continue to build and nurture the traditional friendship to become stronger and stronger. Saint Petersburg will take advantage of all the strengths of the sister cities in Vietnam to promote exchanges and cooperation to develop the economy and tourism effectively; at the same time, focus on people-to-people diplomacy to consolidate and promote relations between the two countries.

Sharing with reporters, Mr. Le Phu Anh, an expert from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, said that the young generation of Vietnam quickly approaches information technology products and creatively applies these technologies effectively in life. Therefore, Mr. Le Phu Anh hopes that in the coming time, the young generation of Vietnam, especially young Vietnamese entrepreneurs, will have many opportunities to exchange and cooperate with young people of the Russian Federation, effectively exploit information technology products, learn from each other, apply science and technology to the common playground to jointly promote economic, cultural and social development between the two countries and two peoples.
