On the afternoon of May 15, according to information from the National Children's Hospital, the boy MTA (4 years old, in Nam Dinh ) who was run over by a three-wheeled vehicle in Nam Dinh has just been discharged from the hospital in stable health condition.

The boy recovered after 13 days of treatment in hospital.

Previously, on the evening of May 3, the baby was transferred to the National Children's Hospital. When transferred to the hospital, the lower-level hospital also performed full examination and diagnosis.

Doctors at the National Children's Hospital reviewed and re-evaluated these diagnoses. The patient was diagnosed with bilateral lung contusions, right pleural effusion, left diaphragmatic rupture causing herniation of the stomach and intestines into the chest... That same night, the child underwent surgery to reconstruct the diaphragm, preserve the left kidney, remove the contused intestine, and reconnect the intestines.

Two days after the surgery, the patient's condition was stable, with good consciousness, and continued to be monitored and treated. On the morning of May 15, the baby was discharged from the hospital in stable health condition.

The leaders of the National Children's Hospital said that the treatment costs of the child patient were mostly covered by health insurance. During the treatment of patient MTA, the National Children's Hospital did not ask for support for the treatment costs from benefactors and the community, because child A. was under 6 years old and was fully covered by health insurance.

However, during the treatment of the child, many benefactors have supported the child. The entire amount of support was handed over by the National Children's Hospital to the family of the child patient MTA, for the family to manage and use./.
