Persistence to success

Robert Collier was right when he wrote: "Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day after day." That thought is also close to Aesop when he said: "Little by little is the secret to success."

The repetition of many efforts every day, or carrying out work little by little, continuously over many consecutive periods of time, is it perhaps the expression of perseverance in work and action of the subjects?
