"Zombie Ferry" continues the story of "Zombie Island", revealing a new journey of the escape from zombies of the character Cong (played by Huynh Dong) and the people in the group. During the escape, they get lost due to the degeneration and sabotage of the character Diem (played by Oc Thanh Van), forcing the group to split up.

After the nearly 2-minute trailer was posted, netizens had mixed comments. Many opinions said that the video clip was not attractive and did not create confidence that the work had improved much in quality. Director Nguyen Thanh Nam said the story of "Zombie Ferry" is the result of the team's efforts. Those are the efforts and the desire to learn that they want to send to the audience.

"We do not put any burden on "Zombie Ferry". We hope to have the opportunity to convince everyone that we are good listeners and always try to make products with new topics in the best way. We are always willing to receive and listen to opinions from the audience" - director Nguyen Thanh Nam said.

The movie "Cù lao quả sống" released in 2022 received a lot of criticism from the audience due to its flawed script and many silly and illogical details. They said the movie was a "cinematic disaster" and was surprisingly unsatisfactory.

"Zombie Ferry" will be released on September 1 and is the third film to join the Vietnamese film race on the occasion of the September 2 holiday. Other films include "Anonymous" released on August 25 and "Touching Happiness" released on September 1.
