At the program, nearly 350 people in Suoi Me, Hon Gam and Ka To villages received general health check-ups for diseases related to: musculoskeletal system; ear, nose and throat, blood pressure, eyes, diabetes, cardiovascular, pediatrics, obstetrics, etc. In addition, some people were also screened for abdominal diseases using a mobile ultrasound machine. Along with medical examination, people were also consulted and instructed on how to take care of their health at home, especially for the elderly; and were given free medicine.

Colonel Nguyen Tien Dung - Deputy Director of Military Hospital 87 said that this is an annual mass mobilization activity of the hospital. The program is even more meaningful when it is organized on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025). Dong Khanh Son Commune is a newly established locality based on the merger of three communes: Ba Cum Nam, Ba Cum Bac and Son Trung. This is a commune with many difficulties in Khanh Hoa province, with a population of more than 10,000 people.
