According to Allkpop on September 26th, Bi Rain's agency responded to Money Today that they had not received any official complaint regarding the incident. "We only received a recent call from the police station regarding a complaint. Therefore, we have requested that the matter be transferred to the Gangnam Police Station," Bi Rain's agency stated.

They added that "A"'s accusation that he never saw the house Bi Rain sold and that he bought it is false. Bi Rain did not hide the house and showed it to "A"'s wife twice through his father. Correspondence and real estate company staff can corroborate this claim.

"The accusation by 'A' that Bi Rain sent false photos of the outdoor swimming pool of his house is incorrect. The photo in question is Bi Rain's profile picture on his KakaoTalk account. We always urge prospective homebuyers to refer to satellite imagery for a clearer understanding of the property. The house's construction records also clearly show that there is no swimming pool. Lying to sell a property worth 8.5 billion won is absurd," Bi Rain's statement said.

A representative for "A" immediately responded through YouTuber Gu Je Yeok: "Bi Rain's claim that he ever showed us the house is completely false, and we are extremely angry at his baseless lies. We intend to provide further evidence to expose Bi Rain's fraudulent claims."

Previously, "A" accused Bi Rain of real estate fraud. "A's" lawyer filed a complaint against the singer and actor with the Yonsan Police Station in Seoul. They alleged that in May 2022, Bi Rain expressed a desire to purchase a building and land owned by "A" in the Namyang New City area, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi. "A" offered to sell it for 25 billion won, and then Bi Rain proposed that "A" buy his house in Itaewon, Seoul. "A" agreed, completing the purchase of the house for 8.5 billion won. Bi Rain also completed the purchase of the building and land from "A" for a final price of 23.5 billion won.

In the complaint, "A" claims that they were not properly assessed and inspected before purchasing Bi Rain's house. The real estate agent told "A" that because Bi Rain is a celebrity and his wife, actress Kim Tae-hee, was at home, they could not show them the house to avoid revealing their privacy. "A" was only provided with pictures of the house.

However, "A" claims that the house he bought from Bi Rain is not exactly as described in the photos he received. The house lacks an outdoor swimming pool and looks different from the exterior. Inside, the house appears dilapidated, unlike the pictures.

"Bi Rain was concerned about privacy, refused to let buyers view the house, and provided misleading photos about the condition and value of the property," - the lawyer for "A" stated.

They argue that "A" suffered irreparable financial losses from Bi Rain's fraudulent actions in the real estate transaction.
