A big fire occurred at a car care center on Nguyen Van Giap Street (Cau Dien Ward, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi) at 18pm on June 5.6.

The fire flared up quickly, a column of black smoke rising from the scene. Witnesses said that many loud explosions came from the incident with a strong burning smell.

“There are 1-2 cars inside. I saw a white Mercedes outside," the witness said, adding that many people living around the area panicked and fled when they heard the news.

At 19:30, the leader of the People's Committee of Cau Dien Ward confirmed the incident and said the fire was extinguished. Initially, no human casualties were recorded. “The exact number of vehicles damaged is not yet available. However, many items were destroyed by the fire," he said.
