By mobilizing the active participation of its member units, the 19th Army Corps has promoted the spirit of mutual support and solidarity in organizing charitable and humanitarian activities, ensuring social welfare in Quang Ninh province. In the areas where the units are stationed, the units under the 19th Army Corps have actively participated in poverty reduction activities and cared for the lives of vulnerable people and those in difficult circumstances. Many programs to donate essential goods, support livelihoods, and assist those in need have been regularly implemented, especially in remote areas where people still face many hardships, contributing to improving living conditions and building trust among the people in the military's support.
Specifically, to concretize meaningful movements and campaigns such as: "Women in the Army accompanying women in border areas," "The Army joining forces to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas," and "The Army joining hands for the poor, leaving no one behind," the Women's Associations of 5 units, including the Mining Company, the Northeast Coal Processing and Transportation Joint Stock Company, Company 35, Company 790, and the Inspection Center, organized a program to visit, provide livelihood support, and assist disadvantaged children in Khe Muoi village, Tien Yen commune. Here, two families of two disadvantaged women members, Ms. Tang Tai Mui and Ms. Choong Nhi Mui, received support in the form of livestock to develop their economy , with a total value of 5 million VND. This is a practical support that contributes to helping these families develop their economy and gradually stabilize their lives. In addition, 10 gifts, each worth 1.5 million VND, were handed directly to underprivileged children, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence in their studies and personal development.

Ms. Tang Tai Mui, from Khe Muoi village (Tien Yen commune), shared: “My family still faces many difficulties, so the support in providing livestock from units of the 19th Army Corps is very meaningful, helping my family have more opportunities to develop livestock farming and increase income. It's not just a material gift; it's also a source of encouragement for our family to have more motivation to strive for a stable life.”
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang, President of the Women's Association of the 19th Army Corps, stated: To support women and children in difficult circumstances and spread the spirit of sharing in the community, the Women's Association of the 19th Army Corps has proactively developed practical models to create resources for social welfare work. Among these, the "Social Welfare Piggy Bank – Women's Partnership" model, with the motto "Small contributions add up to great things - Contributing love, giving hope," has received positive responses from officers and members. Through practicing saving and fundraising from small but regular contributions, the model aims to support members in difficult circumstances, provide scholarships for poor students, and implement social welfare activities. The "Social Welfare Piggy Bank" is placed in a convenient location within the agency to receive contributions from officers, members, groups, and individuals; the funds are compiled, publicly disclosed, transparent, and used for the right purpose and for the right beneficiaries.
Besides practical support activities aimed at women, children, and disadvantaged people, the 19th Army Corps has also left its mark through many large-scale social welfare projects, contributing to improving infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life in the localities where the unit is stationed .

Accordingly, demonstrating a sense of responsibility towards the community, units under the Army Corps have joined forces with local authorities to build inter-village and inter-commune roads, reinforce irrigation canals, construct cultural centers, schools, health stations, houses of gratitude, houses of compassion, and houses of solidarity… with a total value of nearly one trillion VND. Typical examples include supporting the construction of 17 houses and auxiliary facilities worth 30 billion VND on Tran Island; building 5 cultural centers for mountainous communes in the former Binh Lieu district worth 25 billion VND; and constructing an aqueduct bridge across the Cam River for the people of Binh Khe commune (now Binh Khe ward) worth 23.5 billion VND… These practical actions have been recognized and highly appreciated by the local Party committee, government, and people.
Through concrete and practical actions, the 19th Army Corps is spreading a spirit of responsibility, compassion, and sharing for the community. These social welfare activities not only contribute to improving people's lives but also strengthen the bond of solidarity between the military and the people.
