Concluding the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister requested relevant agencies to closely monitor the world economic and inflation developments affecting Vietnam; promptly warn of risks affecting prices and inflation in Vietnam to take appropriate response measures to ensure supply and stabilize domestic prices. Localities, according to their functions and tasks, coordinate with ministries and branches to continue to manage the prices of essential goods well. The Ministry of Finance shall preside over, synthesize opinions, promptly reflect, and advise the Government and the Prime Minister to have effective solutions in the coming time. "The proposed scenario must be objective, based on the actual situation, especially closely following fiscal and monetary policies. In particular, many essential goods need to have their prices stabilized to meet the consumption needs of people, especially people in remote areas," the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
