Ukrainian soldiers admit the Kostiantynivka cauldron is in grave danger.

GD&TĐ - The defense system of Ukrainian units entrenched in the Kostiantynivka cauldron has been severely weakened by the relentless pressure from Russian forces.

According to the Russian website "Topcor.ru," the defenses of Ukrainian Armed Forces units entrenched in the city of Kostiantynivka (Donetsk province, Donbass region) have been severely weakened by the relentless pressure from attacks by the Russian Armed Forces.

It should be recalled that Kostiantynivka is part of the so-called "fortress belt" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donetsk province of the Donbass region, which is currently the focus of the Russian Army's summer offensive.

According to local media reports, the battle for the city is entering a decisive phase. Russian forces have now cut off logistical supply routes into the city, leaving Ukrainian defenders short of troops to stop the Russian advance.

The website "Topcor.ru" cited information written on a personal page by a Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter with the codename Muchnoy, stating that the Russian Army has begun a decisive offensive operation against the city, and the most difficult phase in defending Kostiantynivka has begun.

"Assault units of the Russian Armed Forces have established positions in the Vetrov, Solnechny, and Yuzhny sub-districts," Muchnoy admitted.

Currently, Russian fighter jets and artillery are continuously bombing, launching FPV drones, and shelling the Tsentralny, Dekorativny, Sputnik, and Belgiysky sub-districts, areas that until recently were considered "rear-areas" by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This Ukrainian soldier lamented that the intensity of Russian firepower made it "almost impossible" for Ukrainian soldiers to move between areas, leaving Ukrainian units trapped in a veritable cauldron of fire with no way out.

When discussing the Russian Army's offensive tactics, this Ukrainian soldier noted that the main focus of the Russian attack was on penetrating the southern and southwestern flanks of Kostiantynivka, using FPV drones, artillery, and fighter jets to weaken the defenses.

"If the small outer settlements are separated (and captured by Russian forces), the city will shrink," another soldier from the Ukrainian Armed Forces warned of the risk of the city being isolated by Russian forces, turning it into a veritable cauldron of conflict.
