The tournament is organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai in coordination with the General Department of Sports and Physical Training and the Vietnam Vovinam Federation.
The tournament took place from June 8 to June 17, with athletes competing for 78 sets of medals in three age groups: 12-15 years old, 16-18 years old and 19-21 years old . More than 530 athletes from 36 sports delegations from 36 provinces and cities across the country participated in the tournament .
Binh Thuan delegation participated in the tournament with coaches and 26 young athletes who competed with great effort and tried hard to win 9 medals of all kinds, including 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 4 bronze medals.
The National Youth Vovinam Championship is the basis for reviewing the young athlete force in preparation for the Southeast Asian School Sports Festival taking place in Da Nang in August 2023.
