BTO - With the theme "20 Years of Vibrant Journey," the 20th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival officially opened on the evening of April 4, 2024, at 23/9 Park (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).
Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Truong My Hoa - former Vice President of Vietnam, leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and representatives from many localities across the country.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Vo Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, stated that this event marks a special milestone: 20 years of vibrant tourism, and affirms the strong recovery of the tourism industry nationwide. Sharing his thoughts at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong also highly appreciated the efforts of the city's tourism sector, thereby creating favorable conditions for connection and providing an attractive platform for localities and tourism businesses across the country.
According to the organizers, this year's Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival attracted 150 booths, including 43 booths from provinces and cities, 35 tourism service businesses, and other units. Nearly 400 tourism products and services from travel agencies, accommodation establishments, attractions, and related service businesses (spas, medical tourism, food and beverage, shopping, etc.) have also registered for numerous attractive promotions, discounts, and gifts.
The Binh Thuan Tourism booth, organized by the Provincial Tourism Information and Promotion Center, features direct participation from businesses such as Hoang Ngoc Resort, Sea Links City, Hon Ba La Gi Beach Resort, Blue Ocean Resort, Mui Ne Nho Resort, and several units that sent promotional publications (TTC World Ta Cu, Sailing Bay Resort, Cay Bang Restaurant, etc.). Besides promoting the potential and advantages of the local "non-polluting industry," the Binh Thuan Tourism booth also aims to attract and focus on introducing the destination to the domestic market, primarily Ho Chi Minh City and other southern provinces and cities, as a "Safe - Friendly - Quality - Attractive" destination.
During the 20th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival (from April 4-7, 2024), the Binh Thuan Tourism booth also organized many exciting activities to serve visitors. These included art performances, tourism-themed game shows with prizes, a "Tourism Golden Hour" program, promotional programs, souvenir gifts, and lucky draws.
