Black Friday, also known as "Dark Friday," is a discount event originating in Western countries, usually falling on the fourth Friday of November. This year, Black Friday takes place on November 28th.

In response to this event, many retail stores in Ha Tinh simultaneously displayed discount signs with a dominant black, red, and white color scheme, along with a series of attractive promotions, creating a vibrant market atmosphere.

The Black Friday atmosphere was vibrant at the Savani store on Phan Dinh Phung Street (Thanh Sen Ward).

At the Savani fashion store (Phan Dinh Phung Street, Thanh Sen Ward), the Black Friday craze began spreading on November 13th. To increase its appeal, the store invested in decorating with banners and slogans inside the store; and designed banners on Facebook and its website.

Ms. Hoang Ngoc Anh – store manager shared: “The 'Black Friday – Unbeatable Prices' program, with fixed prices from 36,000 VND, 66,000 VND… and discounts of 30-40%, is being applied to many products in the store. After only nearly two weeks of implementation, the number of customers shopping at the store has doubled compared to normal days, which is a positive sign contributing to the business's revenue growth in the last months of the year.”

Many people took advantage of the biggest sale event of the year to hunt for bargains.

According to Ms. Ngoc Anh, the discount event took place amidst the chilly weather in Ha Tinh, leading to a surge in demand for winter fashion items. Items such as thermal shirts, winter suits, jackets, fleece sweaters, and autumn/winter clothing were popular, with sales increasing two to three times compared to normal days.

“To ensure supply, we have been continuously restocking goods every three days, constantly updating and introducing new products. Besides direct sales, Savani also organizes livestream sessions to develop revenue from online shopping platforms,” said Ms. Hoang Ngoc Anh.

LocknLock is offering deep discounts on many household items, allowing customers to shop to their heart's content at incredibly low prices.

At the LocknLock store (Vu Quang Street, Thanh Sen Ward), the Black Friday sale takes place from November 24th to 30th with discounts of up to 60% on essential household items such as rice cookers, thermos flasks, air fryers, blenders, etc. This is not only an opportunity for the store to stimulate consumer spending but also a chance for people to shop for many quality items at incredibly low prices.

Ms. Dang Thu Tra (Ha Huy Tap ward) said: “Every year, I take advantage of the Black Friday sale to buy necessary items. Not only are there deep discounts, but many stores also have attractive gift programs, allowing me to save about 30-40% compared to regular days.”

Refrigeration products also saw price reductions of 30-50% during this period.

For shopping malls and appliance stores, Black Friday sales are also being implemented simultaneously. Many products are discounted by 30-50%, but many customers still hope for even more attractive deals on Black Friday, November 28th.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien – manager of Dien May Xanh store (Ha Huy Tap Street, Thanh Sen Ward) shared: “When shopping during the Black Friday sale, customers can choose essential winter products such as dryers, drying cabinets, dehumidifiers, heaters… at drastically reduced prices, saving up to 3-5 million VND per product. Although Black Friday takes place on Friday, the discount programs will be maintained by the store until Sunday (November 30th). Since the program was launched, the number of customers shopping at Dien May Xanh has doubled compared to before.”
