The Provincial Military Command visited and supported families whose houses collapsed due to floods.

On November 25, Colonel Nie Ta, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, and the working delegation visited, presented gifts and encouraged families whose houses collapsed in Dak Lieng commune.

Also participating in the working trip were representatives of the Party Committee, the Regional Defense Command (PTKV) 5 - Dray Bhang and local leaders.

Visiting the families who lost their homes, Colonel Nie Ta kindly asked and encouraged them to overcome the pain and loss, and soon stabilize their spirit and life. On behalf of the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command, Colonel Nie Ta personally handed over gifts and support money, expressing the deep sympathy of the provincial armed forces for the people's losses.

Colonel Nie Ta encouraged the families and asked all forces to join hands to help people stabilize their lives soon.

The Commander of the Provincial Military Command emphasized: “In the face of great difficulties caused by natural disasters, the most important thing is the spirit of solidarity and mutual love. The Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command will stand side by side with the people; requesting the PTKV 5 - Dray Bhăng Command Board and the Party Committee and government of Dak Lieng commune to continue to create the most favorable conditions, urgently send soldiers and militia to actively contribute working days and materials to support families that suffered heavy losses, especially the three households whose houses collapsed, to soon rebuild their homes and stabilize their lives.”

Dak Lieng commune is one of the localities heavily affected by the recent historic storm and flood. The sudden rise of the Krong Ana river, accompanied by flash floods, caused widespread flooding, submerging and sweeping away many crops and people's properties. Particularly serious, in Mlieng village, the fierce flood destroyed 3 houses.

Forces participated in helping people rebuild collapsed houses in Mlieng village.

Thanks to the proactive and drastic measures taken by the local government, the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control of Dray Bhang 5 and the local armed forces, the evacuation of people was carried out promptly. All people in the danger zone were taken to safe shelters before the flood arrived, thus, there were no casualties.
