The Politburo assigned a person to run the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

TPO – The Politburo has assigned Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Khanh Hoa, to oversee the activities of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee until the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee is filled.

On the afternoon of September 5th, Ms. Nguyen Thi Trung Thu, Chief of the Office of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, sent official document No. 3511-CV/TU to the agencies, units, and departments of the province, informing them about the Politburo's assignment to manage the work of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

According to document No. 3511 – CV/TU of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, the Central Party Office has just announced that Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Khanh Hoa, has been assigned by the Politburo to manage the affairs of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee from August 29, 2024, until the position of Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term is filled according to regulations.

On the morning of the same day, at the Conference of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Justice, Ms. Phan Thi Hong Ha - Director of the Personnel and Organization Department, Ministry of Justice, announced Decision No. 1519 - QDNS/TW dated August 27, 2024 of the Central Committee of the Party appointing her to the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Justice.

According to this decision, Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh (Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Minister of Justice) ceases to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and relinquishes his position as Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; he is appointed to the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Justice.

Previously, at its 8th extraordinary session on August 26th, the National Assembly approved the appointment of Nguyen Hai Ninh, Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, as Minister of Justice for the 2021-2026 term. The resolution approving Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh's appointment, as proposed by the Prime Minister, was passed by the National Assembly on the same day.

Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan was born on April 19, 1970, in Ninh Thuy Ward, Ninh Hoa Town, Khanh Hoa Province. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Judicial Law and a Bachelor's degree in Party Building and State Administration. In February 2020, Mr. Toan was elected Deputy Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. In October 2020, Mr. Toan was re-elected as Deputy Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
