The Lam Dong Provincial Military Command organized a consultation on the rearrangement and merger of administrative units.

(Lam Dong Online) - On the afternoon of April 15th, the Task Force of the Provincial Military Command on the implementation of administrative unit restructuring at all levels in Lam Dong province held a conference to gather feedback on the merger and restructuring of administrative units in the province.

Colonel Vy Thanh Minh - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, chaired the conference at the provincial branch.

The working group was established under Decision No. 1183 of the Provincial Military Command and consists of 30 members. This conference was held online, connecting the Provincial Military Command headquarters to various units throughout the provincial armed forces.

At the Provincial Military Command headquarters, Colonel Vy Thanh Minh - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command - chaired the conference.

At the conference, delegates were briefed on Conclusion No. 126, Conclusion No. 127, and Plan No. 156 of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee regarding the reorganization of the administrative apparatus and units at the commune level in Lam Dong province. Simultaneously, the contents were disseminated to the Military Commands of districts, cities, and units to advise agencies and units on the implementation of the reorganization of the administrative apparatus and units at all levels.

In addition, the Provincial Military Command also implemented measures to disseminate information and educate officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, contract workers, reserve soldiers, and militia members about the significance and importance of reorganizing administrative units at all levels. They also reviewed, compiled statistics, and proposed plans for managing, utilizing, and transferring facilities, weapons, equipment, barracks, national defense land, and support tools when district-level units are abolished and administrative units at all levels are reorganized.

Advising the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command on the proposed plan for establishing regional defense clusters (Commands), the plan for arranging commune-level Military Commands; proposing plans for organizational structure, personnel, weapons and equipment when district-level Military Commands are not organized, and arranging commune-level Military Commands and regional defense clusters (Commands) according to the guidance of the Military Region and the Ministry of National Defense .

It is expected that the units will complete the reporting plan to the Provincial Military Command before May 5, 2025. Once the Military Region and the Ministry of National Defense make a decision, the arrangements will be implemented.
