Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has officially issued the Digital Transformation Plan for 2025, demonstrating its determination to promote comprehensive digital transformation throughout the industry. With an innovative mindset and clear direction, the plan aims to build a modern, transparent and efficient industry and trade based on data and digital technology.
Accordingly, the goal is to continue to carry out 100% of transactions on the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Public Service Portal electronically authenticated, except for services requiring mandatory presence as prescribed by law.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade aims to have 100% of administrative procedures eligible for full-process online public services. Integrating 100% of full-process online public services that are eligible and related to many people and businesses into the National Public Service Portal.
In addition, the rate of online payment for administrative procedures requiring financial obligations on the National Public Service Portal out of the total number of payment transactions of public services must reach at least 70%.
Ensure that the rate of administrative procedure settlement records carried out through the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Public Service Portal reaches 90%; the Ministry of Industry and Trade's information systems related to people and businesses that have been put into operation and exploited are connected and communicated through the data integration and sharing platform; information of people and businesses that has been digitized and stored in national databases does not need to be re-provided.
Regarding implementation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade assigns units under the Ministry to carry out the tasks assigned in this plan. If necessary, heads of units shall review and report to the Ministry's leaders and the Steering Committee on Digital Transformation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to make adjustments, supplement tasks, or adjust the implementation progress when problems arise.
Regarding the reporting regime, periodically every quarter (before the 20th of the last month of the quarter), report to the Minister of Industry and Trade on the implementation results (through the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy ) and the progress of task implementation for monitoring and synthesis.
The Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy shall preside over and coordinate with relevant units to organize, monitor, urge and implement this plan; periodically and suddenly report on the situation and results of the plan implementation and recommend to the Minister of Industry and Trade measures to effectively implement the plan.
