According to the admissions plan, the "virtual" filtering of application preferences this year will take place over 9 days. The Ministry of Education and Training will run the "virtual" filtering system for all admission methods, processing application preferences on a common system to determine the highest-ranked preference among those for which candidates are eligible for admission.
The process of filtering out "virtual" applications for admission will be conducted six times on the system and will conclude on the afternoon of August 20th. Afterward, the Ministry of Education and Training will transfer the results of this filtering process to the universities and colleges for early childhood education programs, allowing them to arrange, balance, and prepare for the announcement of the cut-off scores before 5 PM on August 22nd.
The Ministry of Education and Training requires universities not to require candidates to confirm their enrollment or enroll before August 22nd (including for programs in collaboration with foreign countries); and not to close the enrollment confirmation or enrollment period before 5 PM on September 6th (including for programs in collaboration with foreign countries).
According to data released by the Ministry of Education and Training, in the first phase of university and college admissions for early childhood education this year, more than 660,000 candidates nationwide completed entering their preferences into the system. The total number of preferences registered by candidates was over 3.4 million, with an average of more than 5 preferences per candidate. This means that approximately 292,000 students did not register any preferences in the first phase of admissions this year.
