In 2024, the province allocated over 238 billion VND from the local budget to implement five tourism infrastructure investment projects, including: an outdoor museum exhibition; an urban beautification project to create land for the planned hotel, commercial, and service complex in Thong Nhat ward; infrastructure investment for the Kon Tum Prison cultural and historical tourism area; and land exploitation for infrastructure development in the Kon Tum Prison tourism area. In addition, the province also focused on investing in telecommunications infrastructure, financial services, electricity and water systems; constructing, repairing, and completing dozens of transportation routes connecting tourist areas and destinations within and outside the province; and planning and investing in the development of various types of tourism products and services suitable to the potential and strengths of each locality.
