On the afternoon of May 4th, at the People's Committee of Van Ninh commune, the delegation of National Assembly representatives from Khanh Hoa province met with voters from the communes of Dai Lan, Van Ninh, Van Phuoc, Tu Bong, and Van Hung following the First Session of the 16th National Assembly.

The delegation included: Nghiêm Xuân Thành, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee, and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khánh Hòa Province; Phùng Đức Tiến, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment ; and Major General Nguyễn Hữu Phước, Director of the Khánh Hòa Provincial Police.

At the meeting, the Director of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, Major General Nguyen Huu Phuoc, on behalf of the delegation, briefly reported to the voters on the results of the First Session of the 16th National Assembly ; and also informed them of some key issues that the National Assembly will consider in the near future.

Local voters expressed their agreement and appreciation for the results of the session, which included the adoption of 9 laws and 31 resolutions; they believed that the session continued to introduce many innovations, improving the quality and effectiveness of the National Assembly's operations.

At the conference, voters also raised many practical issues. Voters from Van Phuoc, Tu Bong, and Van Hung communes suggested considering "legalizing" the general education program, unifying the use of one set of textbooks for each educational level; they also requested that the law-making process be rigorous and avoid overlaps...

Voters in Dai Lan commune requested the early installation of a lighting system at Co Ma pass; investment in the construction of the Suoi Dua canal to mitigate flooding; and attention to the restoration of cultural and historical relics. Voters in Van Ninh commune proposed policies to subsidize fertilizer and pesticide prices; and the repair of dilapidated rural roads.

Speaking at the meeting, Central Committee member and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa province, Nghiem Xuan Thanh, acknowledged and highly appreciated the heartfelt and responsible opinions of the voters; and at the same time requested departments, agencies, and localities to closely monitor the situation, proactively grasp the situation, and promptly resolve issues of concern and frustration to the people, without letting them drag on.

Highlighting several key tasks, the Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa province requested the acceleration of the application of science and technology in agricultural production; the allocation of resources to implement essential public works; attention to the restoration of historical and cultural relics, the development of tourism and services; early investment in traffic lighting systems; and focusing on resolving outstanding projects.

Providing further information to voters, the Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa province stated that in the first quarter, the province's economic growth rate reached 8.37%, higher than the national average; budget revenue reached nearly 15,000 billion VND, equivalent to 39% of the central government's assigned target and a 76% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

The delegation of National Assembly deputies from Khanh Hoa province affirmed that they will fully consider and incorporate the voters' suggestions, submit them to the competent authorities for review and resolution, and inform the results at subsequent meetings.
