Final round of the "Golden Bell Challenge 2026" competition

On the evening of May 25th, iLA English Center Dong Nai organized the final round of the English competition "Ring the Golden Bell 2026," attracting nearly 300 students from several primary schools in Dong Nai city.

Following exciting preliminary rounds at primary schools such as Nguyen An Ninh, An Hao, Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Hoang Hoa Tham, and Tran Quoc Toan, the most outstanding students have gathered in the final round to compete in a thrilling knowledge contest across grades 3, 4, and 5.

In her opening remarks, Ms. Iryna Naumenko, Academic Director of ILA Dong Nai English Center, said: "The competition brings together talented students from primary schools, helping them not only improve their English skills but also build confidence, critical thinking, and a love for learning English."

According to Ms. Iryna Naumenko, the success of the competition was due to the active support from schools, parents, and teachers. In particular, the program also acknowledged the meaningful support of two sponsors, Saigon Eye Hospital Bien Hoa and Laza Dental Clinic Bien Hoa, who provided valuable gifts, scholarships, and healthcare packages for the winning contestants, further motivating students on their journey of learning and holistic development.

The highlight of the final night was the dramatic competition between the contestants. In a knockout format, the students had to answer numerous English questions, ranging from multiple-choice to essay questions, within a short time frame.

Nguyen Duc Gia Huy, a student from Nguyen Dinh Chieu Primary School , excelled against many competitors and won first prize in the 3rd grade category. Sharing his thoughts after the competition, he said he practiced English every day and tried to stay calm during the exam. The competition helped him become more confident in communicating in English.

Meanwhile, Truong Quoc Khanh, a student from An Hao Primary School who won first prize in the 5th grade category, said that the questions were quite diverse, requiring contestants not only to have a good vocabulary but also to react quickly. He really enjoyed the competition because he got to interact with many friends who are good at English and learn many new things.

To conclude the final night, the organizing committee awarded first, second, and third prizes, along with many consolation prizes, to outstanding contestants in each grade level.
